अर्थ (हिंदी): हे तुलसी काष्ठ से उत्पन्न माले, हे श्रीकृष्ण के भक्तों को प्रिय! मैं आपको अपने कंठ में धारण करता/करती हूँ। कृपया मुझे श्रीकृष्ण का प्रिय बना दीजिए।

Meaning (English): O mala made from Tulsi wood, dear to the devotees of Shri Krishna — I wear you around my neck; kindly make me dear to Shri Krishna. Devotees then also pray to Tulsi Devi to make them dear to the devotees of Shri Vishnu.

How to Wear a Tulsi Kanthi Mala

A 2 round kanthi is worn the same way as any Tulsi kanthi:

1. Clean the mala; if you like, apply a little cow ghee on the beads to make them stronger and add shine.
2. Offer the mala to Shri Hari first, with a short prayer.
3. Then wear it yourself while reciting the mantra above.
